Thanks to its diverse, rich and sometimes unique collections, Musée L · Louvain University Museum is a valuable resource for studying the material dimensions of art, culture, history and the human sciences. Spanning a wide range of humanities disciplines (art history, archaeology, palaeontology and biological anthropology, history, philology, social and cultural anthropology, political science and sociology, theology and religious studies, heritage management, cultural communication and mediation), the museum’s collections offer numerous opportunities for research and teaching.
We encourage interdisciplinary collaborations and research projects that draw on these unique collections. Several resources are available to support such initiatives.
