This collection includes almost 2,000 works: sculptures, paintings and decorative items representative of European art from the 14th to the 19th century, including a remarkable series of works dating from the late Gothic period and early Renaissance. The bequest of the collector Frans Van Hamme in 1967 ushered in a series of donations that have greatly enriched UCLouvain’s artistic heritage.
